My mother visa was denied first time on May 20th,2009, Reasons: My mother did not know my information/details by heart.
Now my mother is trying second time in July with good preparation. However, I have following questions:
1) I have all the documents e.g. I-134, my job verification letter etc. dated April 20th, 2009. It it ok if the documents are 90 days older ? I have sent latest pay stubs icluding June.

2) Meantime we have a new born baby on June 21, 09. Do I have to mention about this during interview? I obviously dont have this information added on I-134, because I had mailed it to India in April.

3) we are afraid that if we mention about the new born baby ( actually they might have his records), then they might deny my mother's visa again on the ground of baby sitting stuff.... although only my mother is coming and father is not traveling.

Please provide your expert opinions on this.

Thanks & regards,
Ravi

I-134 should be latest. Job Verification letter may be 90 days old as long as you substantiate that with your latest paystubs. But it is always good to send latest Job Verification Letter.

2) Meantime we have a new born baby on June 21, 09. Do I have to mention about this during interview? I obviously dont have this information added on I-134, because I had mailed it to India in April.
You are not supposed to say anything other than what you are asked during the interview. In I-134, you do have to mention about your baby. Your mother should not say anything about the baby unless she is asked specifically about the baby. Otherwise she may be treated as a potential Nanny.

3) we are afraid that if we mention about the new born baby ( actually they might have his records), then they might deny my mother's visa again on the ground of baby sitting stuff.... although only my mother is coming and father is not traveling.
It is nothing wrong to put your baby's information in I-134. I heard couple of incidents, where parents say that we are going to take care of the baby, as my son/daughter is working. You should train your mother never to say something like that.

Please provide your expert opinions on this.

Hello friends from path2usa forum,

I am glad:) to tell you all that my mother got her visa second time, she re-applied second time after 2 months after good preparation about my details like company name, my adress etc. Interview was in Marathi.
Here are few questions VO asked to my mom:

VO asked : Why ur husband not coming with you?
My mom: My husband has knee problem, cant travel.

VO: Why your son did not come here to bring you?
Mother: He came in last december and prepared my passport and now I want to go with his friend.

VO: Do you know his friend?
Mother: Yes

VO: have you travelled in plane before?
Mother: Not outside India, but yes within India.

VO: how many kids?
Mother: total 5 kids

VO: Does your son in USA has any kids?
Mother: Yes

VO: kid's name?
Mother: answered and VO noted down the name and said you will get your passport next day.

Mother got 10 yrs multiple entry visa. Second time she prepared very well and we decided to tell answer all questions truthfully with confidence. My mother has hearing problem so in the biginning my mother told them to speak little louder so VO (marathi speaking) was kind enough to repeat the questions for my mom.

I will recommend , try after 2/3 months second time ( if applicable) with better preparation and answer all question as truthfully as your parents can.

Good luck, let me know if you need any other help!

Thanks you all for your kind replies and suggestions.
-Ravi:)
