hi,I have one query regarding visa expiration.One of my friend is pregnant and doctor advised her not to fly before 6-8 mnths.But her visa is expiring in september.Her husband has L1b visa and she has L2visa.What will be the way out.If any one can provide any information regarding this..it will be great help.

It's strange that the doctor has told her she can't travel now buts its okay to travel AFTER her 8th month??? She'll be due any date after that!
Her best option would be not to travel at all in her (then) advanced state of pregnancy.
Does she want to travel to her home country or to the US?

Actually she doesnt want to travel during her pregnancy.But the problem is that her visa is expiring..so she wants to know if she can get any special permission to stay here during this period if she has doctor's certificate.what will b the process and where she needs to contact

I'm afraid a pregnancy is no reason to overstay on a visa. If their visas are not going to get extended, then it is best that she return to her home country while she can still travel. It's not worth it to stay back and ruin her chances of returning at a later date (for work or as a tourist).
There is no special permission she can get for this. How far along is she? She should plan to return as soon as she can rather than wait till the expiry of her visa if she is having a hard pregnancy.
