Is affidiavit Fax Copy is acceptable

Hi i got a slot open for Nov-23 for my in-laws..can i send a fax copy of the affidiavate..please let me know.....

Generally FAX copy is accepted by US offices.
So, far I am not aware of any case where any one used the FAX copy. So cant really make any comment.

Sorry to interrupt with a different question but i am a little desperate for an appt at the chennai consulate.i was just wondering when you made the appointment for the 23rd of nov.Did yu make it recently or in oct or sep?I was actually looking very hard but cant seem to find anything before feb...Any reply will be highly appreciated.Thanks..

Hi:

Actually we had got an appointment for my parents on Nov 18th but their visa got rejected. I then booked an appointment for my in-laws on Feb 8th and was trying an earlier appointment through Modify/Click link the whole day. Fortunately enough by 11:30 pm, I got their appointment for Nov 22 nd as well as Nov 23rd (3:00 to 3:30 pm) on Nov 20th only and today we got the happy news that they had got their visa. Keep trying and definetely you will get an earlier appointment.
