Bank Account and Credit Report

I have opend an account in 2006 and didn't do any transaction. I have deposited 300+ $ at the time of opening. I don't know the status of the account. Will that effect credit report?

Since most banks have monthly maintenence fees for small accounts, the account is likely closed after all of this time.

Pr FTC & Banking rules the Bank must send you statement each billing cycle, even if the account becomes negative - they cannot close it by themselves without notifying you. contact the bank to close the account- too many small accounts is the best target for identity theft.
