H1 Stamping and POE experience

Hi,

I went for H1 stamping at Mumbai consulate on 21MAY and entered US on 30MAY. My stamping went well, there are few basic questions by VO on my previous experience and stay in US. Also at POE they asked about my previous employer, how many days I went for vacation? and other basic stuff.

My POE was chicago. I have not noticed any one in POE being returned or taking unreasonable time by Inspector at POE.


Yes at Mumbai consulate, you are not allowed to take zip folder along with you and you need to submit DS156 and DS157 documents 5 days prior to your interview at consulate.

In your case, did you have a valid visa from your previous employer or it was expired and that made you to go for VISA Stamping?

My Visa was expired and thus I need to go for visa stamping.
