Hello Murali,
My mother visa was rejected first time.
But there is no stamp on her passport with respect to visa denied or application recieved.
Is it not required to stamp the passport w.r.t. application recieved? My mother just recieved a standard letter of visa rejection.

what shoudl I do for second application. Should I apply as a fresh new application?
Is there any reason why Bombay consulate has not stamped on her passport?

Please help

The letter is what u wld always get in case of rejection - Not sure if pp needs to be stamped as well - I know of cases when the pp was not stamped at all. Please confirm this with vfs.
For Reapplication u have to take a fresh appt and repeat the entire process - u can use the same documents (I134, salary statement, bank statements etc) as long as they are within 2 months of the original i/v date. u can also use the dds returned to u as long as they are valid.
