Trying at a different consulate

Hello everyone,
I need to know if anyone has ever tried at another consulate after being rejected at the chennai consulate..i know the rules say its not allowed but i keep hearing on and off that people have done it.I dont know if they are rumours or not.Can someone pls help me if they have heard directly of any such cases...

I dont think that other consulates allow/entertain re-application at different consulate.
By rule you should apply to the same cosulate if re-applying.
