How To Renew Vistors Visa

My mothers vistors visa is expiring on 30-MAY-2005(5year visa).we want her to be here in US by april'05.what would be a better time for her to go for visa renewal.

first of all any person whois visa is valid at the time to enter into USA is good to enter into USA. The actual stay in USA will be determin and given on I94 at the POE.
In case you still want to have anew visa , any time is good to re-apply at the US conuslate in home country.
