Appointment for Visitor's visa

I need to call my mother and I am yet to take an appointment. Can any body suggest what would be the normal time to get an interview date if we apply in person? Does it takes months? She is planning to come here during Feb.

And also, she was here with us and went back to India in Sept. Will there be any problem if we reapply for visa again? Is there any rescriction on number of times? Or time between two visas?

Normally the wit time to get an appoitment with a specific consulate may vary from 15-days to a month or so.

I dont see any probloem in re-applying ..

If you are applying from chennai ,you have to book right now to get an appointment for Febrauary.Other consulates i think the wait time is only about a month!!
