Hi,

My Mom and aunt got rejected the Visa today ,they got form 214(b) ,they both are widowed. They didnt verify any documents just asked two or three questions..

My question is

1)Can I appear for the interview again ..? how soon I can go for the next interview ..? Can I go next month itself.. ?

2)Is there any preparation required for that ..? any suggestions .

3)Can we modify the information provided during the first interview ..is there any cross verification or do they keep a copy of I-156 or I-157 for any future references ..?

it would be greatly appreictaed if any one please help me out with my queries.

Thanks
Kiran

Do you want to appear or your aunt and mom? There is no such timeframe, but unless you have some new evidence it could be useless

The same as before. Be prepared to tell why they want to return to India.

3)Can we modify the information provided during the first interview ..is there any cross verification or do they keep a copy of I-156 or I-157 for any future references ..?

You can modify if there was some mistake in the previous form. They have all records. Truth is the only acceptable answer.

it would be greatly appreictaed if any one please help me out with my queries.

Thanks
Kiran

There have been instances when repeated attempts finally resulted in favorable decision, but most of the time chances are slim.
