Earlier appointments

Hi,
Oflate, have anyone of you seen people cancelling/slots being available? I mean after thjis WaitList appointment link was introduced, I have never been able to see any slot getting free.Please give your opinion,as I have my parent's interview scheduled on 16th Feb 2005.

I read on this forum, people saying they have seen some early solts available from time to time if you try regularly, depends if some one canceles etc.
I would also urge some one to provide more details who have actaully found this way ?

That is exactly my problem too.I have been looking for the past 1 month but never ever seem to find any cancellations.For my parents first appointment in nov i was trying to schedule in sep and i wld always see someone or the other cancelling 10 times a day.now in 10 days have'nt seen even 1.I emailed ttservices chennai to ask them if it cld be done personally at their office and they say that it cant be done there,only online.I am confused because i hear ppl saying that it can be done personally,maybe thats only for the mumbai consulate or something...
Also murali would you know if we can take appointment in calcutta or delhi after its been rejected in chennai...dates are just not available in chennai easily.

okay,now i know that people do cancel but it gets taken up in a blink of an eye literally.I had an appt for feb 3rd but was dumb enough to enter wrong details.I had to cancel and rebook and guess wat..i cancelled and in less than a minute it dissappeared.Obviously someone had taken it.It was'nt even a minute i think!!!now i have feb 14th :mad: Not very romantic though since i am expecting in january.

In the holidays/working hrs link of the TTS site, it says Dec 24th and Dec 31st are holidays. But the appointment availability is open also. So what would happen to people who have sought appointment on those dates?

That seems be a system glitch, so do not opt for those dates.
Those who have selcted those dates I am sure will be given some other dates later notified by the TTS service.
