I am stuck on 2 questions

1. Are you employed or studying?

I am not employed, I am a Civil Contractor. I work from home, sort of Business. So to the question "Are you employed?"...
-should I just say NO and leave the next section(Employer name and address) blank?
or
-should I say Yes and write my name as an Employer(Self Employed) and my home address?

2. Who is sponsoring your trip?

My wife is traveling with me and I am going to sponsor her. What should be the answer of the above question in my wife's DS156? Should it be 'HUSBAND'? Also do I need to present some document such as affidavit showing that I am sponsoring her or is it not necessary?

Your reply will help me in filling the form and taking the appointment

Thanks

1. You should mention self employed and give the address from where you operate.
2. You need to carry 3 years tax return with 3 years balance sheets if you are self employed and self sponsoring the visitor visa for both of you. You also need to carry property documents in your name/spouce name and good bank balance in your account to convince VO that you are well off and will return back to your home town after visit to look after your business. Be well prepared to answer about your self employment.

If you have contracts for the future, they will also prove that you have reason to come back.
