hello seniors

I am bit confused.My case is not diffrent from other members..my case is approved in month of june when i asked my i797 fr om my emp he told me to wait till jan.He send me the scaned copy of my i797.When i asked him dat wat is right time for goin to an interview he said that he cant say anything..i have to wait for the end of jan.After jan he will inform me.Is it safe for me to wait till jan.
