H1b extn Stamping-murali advice plz

hi murali,
i am goiung to India end of Jan and i am waiting for my h1b extension. Do we have to take web appointment for h1b extn or can we use post box method.i am going for 2 weeks and already the dates are filled for those 2 weeks. plz advice should I try to find the early one in someother consulate or i will be doing a post box application

Firstly, DROP-Box has been discontinued - A personal i/v is a must for any non-immig visa stamping. U need to take an appt for the personal interview.

Please check the website for the respective consulate for more details.

For mumbai consulate the entire application / appt process is thru vfs (visa-services.com) For other consulates pl chk ttsvisas.com for the appointment process.

If u are from Mumbai/Chennai regions, u can take appt at Delhi/Kolkata consualtes - However u need a valid reason for urgent travel - Please chk the consulate websites for more details on this.
