Hi,

I plan to invite my cousin sister to US on visitor visa. She is single/23 years old and her mom and sis are in India. She is working for an engineering firm.
She is going to sponsor her own trip.
My questions are
(1) What documents do I need to send her?
(2) Is there a need to prove that I am her brother? If so, can you please suggest some possible proofs.

I was just planning to send her an email saying that she is invited to stay with my family and I'll take care of her expenses _in_ USA.
Her visa interview is on 29th Oct. So any timely help is highly appreciated.

PS: I am on H1B, and staying in US with my wife and kid.

Hi All,
Would really appreciate your input on this :)

My sister's fiance is also in US, and this is a great chance for them to meet.(so you see how excited she would be to visit US and how important your feedback would be...)

Thanks a bunch in advance.

Do they put any notes on the passport when visa is rejected? In this case they haven't put any notes.

Do you see any negative effect of this visitor visa denial on future H4 visa approval?

Hi,

Mostly they might put a date in the last page of passport stating Application recieved. I had got that (twice). Nowadays I think they are not writing anything. They will have it in the Database
No, she will not have any problems in teh future for H4 due to this rejection

Rgds,
