Hello,

I'm on H1-B visa here in USA, my H1 has been extended till April 2009. I went for stamping last year and my passport is stamped until Nov 2008. My company has already filed for my Green Card in July. Couple of questions:

1. Would I need to go to India again to get my visa stamped?
2. Can anyone please walk me through the immigration steps if I''m getting married to a US Citizen? The wedding is in December and we plan to visit India in Jan 2009. What if I leave my current employer to take a break? What's the best way to get my GC in an expediated manner? Please advise.

Why are you getting married in Dec on this posting and in Nov on your other one?

You must wait in line just like every one else; you cannot get your GC expedited simply because you want to travel. If you intend to leave your GC employer so you can take a break, why should you expect to be able to receive a GC based on employment?
