Seeking advise regarding visitor's visa application

Hello,
Kindly advise whether we can sponsor for my father's visitor visa or not.
My husband's I 140 is approved and currently both our 485 applications are pending. In case if we can, then what status should be written on the application form.

You could sponsor visa with out any issues. You need to mention status as H1B Temporary worker.

Thank you very much for your response. I wanted to bring to your notice that I have never had an H1 issued on my name. Also what supporting document would I need to send in this regards.
