H1b Transfer urgent , no paystubs no ssn..

Hi,

I have arrived in US a 10 days back and i found my employer is not capable of placing me on any project so i want to change my employer(h1b transfer).Is it possible as i dont have SSN and pay stubs. please respond fastly...

u have to file xfr b4 getting ssn. once u have ssn, ur company suppose to pay that means u need to produce paychks for xfr.

10 days is too less time to place a judgement for your employer in last quater when economy is like what is it now.
Unless you are super super specialized and feel you need job in first week use your judgement

Yes you need to xfer within 30 days. Precisely before getting ssn so that you can manage without a paystub.
Your mindset right now can be described by this proverb - 'the grass is greener on the other side'

It's out of my own experience...I too had the same feelin when my employer was not able to place me within the first month. I thought of xfering my H1.
We trend to and blame our employer if they cant get us a job as soon as we land here.

Believe me whoever is telling you that he has tonns of projects and can get you one immediately is faking...I suggest tell them to get you a project first and then you xfer your h1 to his company.

The recruitment has almost stopped everywhere. Just wait and focus on posting your resume...
