My brother-in-law is 18 and live in Abu Dhabhi with his parents. The first time all three of them went to interview, parents were given 10 yrs multiple entry visa but he was denied a visit visa cos he was 18 and may be a potential candidate looking for jobs. By the way they went to Abu Dhabhi US consulate.
Again after three months my brother-in-law went again but he was not given a visa saying nothing has changed from his first visit.
Again after 4 months he got his admission in Scotland for his highr studies and got his UK visa. He thought that this wud make some diff and since he will be going to Scotland for his higher studies US consulate should not have a problem. This time again the consulate denied the visa saying although he got admission and UK visa that does not mean he will go and study there he is still a potential immigrant.
Guys, can US consulate be so rigid abt visit visas? Kindly advice what can be done to bring him here for a visit. Is there any other way?Your advice will be greatly appreciated.
