Hi,

My mother-in-law is in US on her B2 Visa. She lost her I-94 and she will be flying back to India early November. It takes more then 6 months to get a replacement I-94 from USCIS.

Can she go back to India without a I-94?
What if airline asks for I-94 at departure?

Thanks

Remind her to save all of her travel documents as proof of when she left.

She can leave without having I-94.

She needs to have her boarding pass and airline ticket saved and bring along with her when she comes back to USA next. She will have tough time in answering the IO at POE when she comes next.
Good Luck

Yes, keep the copies of Boarding Pass, travel ticket etc may be needed when she come next time at POE.

It is a highly recommended to every one else - PLEASE make a copies of your Passport, visa, I94 ASAP once you/ your parents comes to USA and keep in your record.
