How Long Can My Parents stay

My parents are coming to USA on Tourist Visa, i have heard from some people that lately, the immigration officers have not been granting stay of more than 4 months on the I-94. is that true.

You'll have to check the date on their i-94.

It all depends how your parents answer the IO and the mood of him. Assuming that your parents are granted 6 months stay in their I94, I would suggest that they return back to their home country in 4 months time being their first visit. After staying for than 6 months in their home country, they can visit you again and stay full 6 months in their subsequent visits if given in I94.
