Hello,
I have two questions:
1. I want to renew my H1 and my current H1 is expiring on Nov. 14 2008. Can I renew my H1 anytime before Nov. 14 2008? I am planning to renew it by October 2008.
2. Although my passport is valid currently, it is expiring by Jul. 09 2010. I hope that is fine, given that my new H1 will exceed that date.
Thanks and Regards.

You can renew your H-1B by now itself. If you file your H-1B extension process by now under regular process then it will take minimum 2 to 2 1/2months for approval.

Hi,
My H1B visa transfer was approved in April 2008 and got an approval with extension till 2011, however my stamped visa in passport still has previous employer and old expiry date of April 2009.
I am going to India in December 2008. Can I get stamping done in December? If yes then also please tell the maximum time before which you can get restamping done and the date on stamped visa.

Yes you can go for stamping in December itself there is no time frame for it as you have already have H-1B transfer approval of the current employer but not the visa stamping of the current employer details.

Thanks for the reply.
My attorney tells me that I need to get the information from USCIS in India if they will do stamping before 60 days of stamped date.
However I am sure I can get it stamped. Any more information is welcomed.
