Hi ppl,
My Visa petition has been approved by USICS.
But recently my consultant had mailed me that there is a slow down in market and hence not to fix appointment with the consulate immediately.
They said they would suggest when to set up appointment once the market is up. Is this right what they are telling? need your invaluable inputs.
Please.
Thanks

Job Market in USA is really down and is really hard to find a job. I am in USA currently and I know people on H1 without job for more than 6 months. So it is best to wait for a while as your employer suggest and come as market gets little better.

You can go to dice.com or monster.com to have some idea about current job opening in USA.

OP,
You should follow your employer's instructions. If you appear and he has no work for you, you can be terminated and required to return to your home country.
If people have not been paid, they have been out of status and will not be able to transfer their visa to a new employer without returning to their home country. They will face increased questioning and problems in the future.

I also got the same answer .... The market is slow .... might get a 221G if we go for stamping ... so lets delay the stamping also ..... In that case..... Can i transfer my I-797 ?? If i can transfer, will it be a big issues while consulate interview ??
