h1b family reference preferable in visa IV?

Hello all,

Is it preferable to give any family member reference into visa intervew?
I am having my uncle living in US, is it advisable to give his name while questioned in visa interview? If I give his name then any chance to get rejection of visa?
Plz suggest.

In DS 156 you will need to mention about your own family members but it is unlikely that the VO will question you about them. It does not affect your visa process in any way.
