Visitor visa for my wife and children?

I have a B1/B2 visa valid for 10 years.

I want to apply visitor visa for my wife, daughter (student of 12th Standard) and son (student of 6th Standard). I want useful assistance.

Should US consulate at Mumbai allow me at the time of interview with may wife and children to assist them and to answer the visa officer?

No. Your wife and children will need to attend the interview together in a group interview but without you since you already hold a visa and have no reason to appear.

Since they only need to answer the VO's questions to the best of their ability and truthfully, why would they require your assistance?
