is it compulsory to go to public notary?

I went to private(person in home) notary. He asked me where to signed :eek:
currently i am having following information on I134

1) signature-------i did
2) Subscribed and sworn to (affirmed) before me this----12-dayof--june 2008
3)at--- white space ( no text is there)
4)My commission expires on--white space( no text is there)
5)Signature of Officer Administering Oath-----white space(no text)
6)title-------white space(no text)


notary guy signed & stamped on end of i134 form which is section after If the affidavit is prepared by someone other than the sponsor. notary stamp says his commission expiration date

i am having doubt for white space(no text or not even NA). Please let me know if it serves problem for sponsoring my parents or i have to go some other public notary place again.
