B2 Visa Correction

Hi,

My Dad got a Visitor visa stamped. Now the problem is his Date of birth is typed wrongly in the visa (the last two digit of the year is interchanged) and it is almost 1.5 years went unnoticed. What is the complexity/procedure of making a correction. Is it a complicated process. Please shed some lights. Thank you in advance for all your help.

Your Dad can write a letter to consulate where the visa was issued and ask for the solution, in many cases consulate ask to just the passport via mail and they correct it and send the passport back.
