Hi,

I completed my graduation this march and my grad ceremony is in June. I want to invite my parents to the gradwalk. I m on OPT now and working in IT.

Can any one please let me know the procedure like what are the documents that must be sent to my parents and how much bank balance they need to show as they are self sponsoring.

Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Vijay

Let them be self sponsor.
You should send them a letter of invitation from your side stating the purpose of this invitation as your graduation ceremony etc.
A Proof of this event from you school / letter/ flayer etc.

Hello,

I'm also inviting my mother to attend my graduation ceremony. But I'm sponsoring her. Are there complications in this approach. I have saved funds from my RA and currently earning from my internship. Comparatively her funds are less.

Also, how much funds is considered good enough per visitor per month.

Thanks,
Literate.
