Vistors Visa for Parents

Hi,

I am planning to get the visitors visa for my parents. As me and my husaband both are on H1 Status. At the moment, i don't have job and so i don't have the latest paystubs. Can my husband sponser my parents to bring them here and what will happen if the visa officer asks my parents why didn't they apply their visitors visa on their daughters H1.
