My mother's Visa got rejected last time on 30th April with reason of 214(b). The officer did not see any documents and rejected the VISA based on answers my mother gave. We have reapplied for the VISA and interview date is in third week of June.

1. Do I need to send my bank statements details again? Last time I sent was of April 2008.
2. Do I need to fill form I-134 again and get it notarized? Last time I sent is of Date in April 2008.
3. Any other documents I should be sending to make the case strong.

I appreciate your help

214(b) is rejection due to unavailibility of strong family ties in India.Your Mother needs to prove she has reasons to come back to India.Ask her to take family pix, Indian property /assets related documents, her previous year's tax documents etc..Basically she needs to convince the visa officer that she is going to get back.

Ask your mother to get a document like the one attached prepared and notarised in Inidia and take with her when she goes for her appointment

Since the affidavit is not legally binding and has no consequences, it is useless.

Dear Sir /Madam CCMD,

All I have to say is your choice of words for criticism is not accurate.
Kindly be more considerate with your use of words while criticizing someone who is trying to help some other person and not you.

Regards,
Swayam
