H1B Extension Applied in 1st week of April

My I-94 expired on May 17th and my extension was filed by the company on April 2nd. I have to call my Parents in August, so can they show the reciept
of the Applied extension or should I wait for the USCIS extension Approval.

Usually how much time it takes for the H1B extension to be Approved?

You dont have to wait, send the copy of extension applied along with all other documents for your parents.
Extension can take 4 to 12 weeks or more..

I hope that this should not become the reason for the US embassy to reject the Visa as my extension might take time.
