Hi,

I am currently holding a valid h1b visa processed 6 months back. My consultant has put a hold on my visit fearing of the market slowdown. Meanwhile my current employer is ready to process L1b visa for me.

1] If I process L1b through my current employer is there any chance of my H1b become invalid?
2] Can I hold My H1b and L1b at the same time?

Kindly help me.

Thanks in advance.

You cannot hold L-1B visa and H-1B VISA simantenously.
You can have either one only.

Hi,

You cannot say 100% that they will cancel the previous work visa and give the existing one. That depends on the VO and still you can have a chance of holding both L1B and H1B visas. There are the cases who hold both the visas but very rare...

Thanks,
Krishh

doesn't matter even VO doesn't cancel the visa, by law prev H1 is void
