Urgent - H4 - Surname related issue

Hello

I applied h4 visa for my wife and 2 kids. In one of my kids passport surname is not mentioned, so during online filling DS156 form I entered "N A" in surname, as this is required field. I noticed that now her name is coming as "DISHA N A" on visa applicant name. Can my wife or kids face any problem during VISA interview.?

Please advise as I have already taken appointment on 18th Jun 2008.

It's very weird not to have the surname on Passport. One of my friends too had same situation. He applied for B1/B2 visa back in 2003. He got the business visa eventually. But that time, it was drop-box facility and 156 and 157 were hand-written. Now-a-days it has changed a lot.

You could have got it corrected on your kid's passport. But it was too late.

My advice is try to contact VFS, get it clarified.

I called VFS USA, they said following

First Name - FNU
Last Name - Enter name as mentioned in Passport
