Can I get a new H1-B stamp 90 before old stamp expires?

My visa (stamp on passport) is expiring in the end of Sep 2008. I am going to India in the 1st week of July 2008. Can I get a new visa stamp approximately 90 days before the old stamp expires?

My 1-797 is valid till 2010
