H1 transfer to other company

I applied for a H1 transfer to other company, and its been almost three months and the case is still pending.. All the people who applied along with me got their papers about two weeks back.. Is there any special reason my visa transfer is delayed, or is there any place I or my lawyer can call and find out any further information abt this?

My second question is if my visa transfer is pending, would it effect my status if my previous employer cancels my H1

You could try and call the USCIS to findout.

Your previous emplyer cannot cancel your H1B once it has been filed for a transfer.
