H1B-->Got 221G-blue Furthur Administration Processing Required

Hi All,

Attended interview on 1st may 2008 they issued an 221G blue form which they checked the box for Furthur adminstration Processing required. Can any please let me know how long does it take.

They will first put an query to USCIS. After that they send you another 221G form by mail asking you to submit the documents you could not show in your interview or to send the same documents again. This process is little lenghty and you may wait for 8-10 weeks. Once you get that mail then be ready with all the documents. After you drop those documents they take like 15-20 days approximately.If they are satisfied with everything they will ask you to drop your Passport alone. If that is done then you are almost there to get your H1B Visa Stamped. Generally, it will take like 3-6 months to complete the whole process.
