Hi,

I need your help because I'm very confused which VISA to apply for. It seems non of them suites me well. My situation is as follows:

I'm a 18 year-old student in Hungary, will graduate this June. My father owns a fairly big company in Budapest and works with international companies. One of his very big New York-based partners invited me to "work" for them for 1 year to get experience in buisiness. They would not pay anything for me, my father would cover the expenses (apartman, ect..). I filed in my application to University in Budapest, which I'll intend to start in 2009. I have a house on my name in Hungary and no relatives in the USA (everyone here).

Thank you very much for your help!

Best Regards,
Benedek

As you are not experienced guy in any technical field, you have no choice left with you. You can consider few things below but do consider consulting a attorney before you start to move on below process.

1. You should join in your company and work there for a year atleast so that you can come on L1 (i think for L1 your experience in technical field is required but worth considering)

2. You can apply for b1 because you are planning to get training in the business. But you cannot stay beyond 6 months in US with one extention.

Better ask your partner to consult with a Visa attorney before considering any visa.

Thank you for your quick answer! I think the only choice will be B1. I'll tell them to consult with a visa attorney.
