I want to invite my niece, aged 19, to stay w/ me during her summer vacation 2008 who is studying in a professional college in India; I will be her sponsor for this trip. Can I have your valuable suggestions to make her candidature strong enough to get a visitor visa?
1. Her father neither pays any income-tax nor owns any real-estate properties. Actually my parents are bearing her college expenses.
2. My parents may show some FD, lets say up to Rs 5 lakhs rupees in her name. Do you think it will help her? If writing a will (estate property) in her name will boost the chances, I need to know the information of official translator in small town from Hindi to English.
3. We (I & my wife) can't show a strong purpose to invite her such as graduation party, house warming or engagement. Attending our marriage anniversary 6th could be the only reason which is not so strong.
She also tried to get visitor visa after 12th but the visa was denied 2 years back. She was told to get admission in a college.
Thanks
Sanjeev
