Hi, My Father is a State Govt. Employee and still have few yrs of service. I was very confident that they will get the Visa.

First interview (Mar 3rd) - My Father was not able to answer couple of questions, regarding my education and his property documents. So they refused under 214(b).

In second interview (April 7th)-the VO said, that without strong reason why are you applying so early? we are not convinced that you are coming back. And you can reapply after giving a long gap.

I read in forums that pregnancy is not a good reason, so I didnot mention about my pregnancy in any of the documents and told my parents to do the same.

I just have one month more - What to do? Should I apply just for my Mother in May? Instead of applying for both?

Pregnancy is not a reason to have parents visit. If you need assistance, hire a nanny or housekeeper.

They should follow the VO's advice. Applying again so soon after being told to wait makes them appear desperate.

Thanks for the advise, but what should be the time gap to reapply?
