Visitor visa got approved in third attempt

My Mother went for visitor visa interview to Chennai consulate. She got her visa approved in her third attempt.

1st time
September 1st: Visa got rejected on 214b

September 24th: Visa got rejected on 214b.

Both the times my husband sponsored the visa.

So I sponsored this time.She went to interview January
21st.

We did prepare Auditor document,Affidavit of support from my mother's side and also Treasure document that she is getting pension.I did send the senator letter to her.

January 21st: Got her visa approved.

She told they saw only my affidavit of support.

I will post the visa duration after getting the passport.

2 daughters. One in Tamilnadu and another in USA.

Who you are living with.

I am living with my Parents (my grandparents).

Son-in-laws last name.

My Husband name

My Mother told she is getting her pension.

Did you get a Senator letter from local office and sent it to your Mom Or Senators letter is sent by the local office to the US Consulate directly as per your request?

During the second and the third visit to the consulate, what did you mention in the Affidavit of Support (I -134) No. 9.

I 134 under 9 I put None. Since I sponsored only for my mother.

Senator Letter :
I called the Local senator office. They directed me to Case work office. They ask me to fill up an form. In that form I provided my SSN and my issue. I did send a covering a letter with that form. I faxed them all the information. In turn they faxed me the Senator Letter.
They send me the letter within 2 days.

I did scan the document and send an email attachment to my mother.She did carry the Senator letter for the interview. I have asked her to give the letter along with her documents.

My mother told me they did not see the senator letter.

Like my parents VISA got rejected because of no reason. How many times do they can apply the VISA ?

As I am aware of Now there is no restriction in number of times. Once it got rejected they need to go after 3 working days.

Hello Chitra Muruganantham,
My wife is 8th month pregnent and we planned to bring my mil. But her visa got rejected first time(214b). In the invitation letter we just said the purpose is tourism. After reading your message we are also thinking of getting senator's letter. Could you pls give me details that what to say to the senator office to get the letter or what kind of letter we wanted from senator. since we have just 1 month left for her delivery we need to do it fast. please provide me the detail.
