Hi,Am Nandini Krishnamurthy from NY. On march 20th I had sent my mother for Tourism Visa. Inspite of all the documents she didnt get the visa as she couldnt prove property docs, regular income or bank statements. We are 3 sisters. 2 of them stay in Blore and am here. Now am pregnant. And my due date is next week. Am desperately disappointed with the visa decision. But I want my mother to go to visa once again. What can I do this time . She does not have any property. My father is a sick person he will not be travelling. Can I transfer some funds from here to her. If yes, how much funds? I shd create an bank account now. I dont know....please do help me.
She has a 6lakhs of lease agreement of the house she is staying in blore. Can I show this document. Am confused please do hlep me with the information. Hope to see my mother before delivery.

It is not the money alone.. I think your mom would have failed to demonstrate one of the following because VO looks every visitor as a potential immigrant

1. Your primary purpose is tourism
2. You have strong ties in India and you will return after your visit.

I do not think going for a second time will serve any purpose. Consulate web site clearly mentions that you can re-apply only when your current situation has changed significantly compared to the situation during the previous interview.

Please also read this thread why delivery/pregnancy/takiing care of sick people is not a good reason for applying visitor visa.
