Hi,

I need an urgent help regarding filing of state tax.

I was in PA in 2007 and now moved to CT at the start of this year.

My employer has base in FL and all my pay stubs have been generated from there. My address on all the paystubs are of FL as I lived/worked there in 2006.

I got my W2 with my FL address on that.

My question is, should I file my DE state tax if yes how, as my W2 doesn't mention about my staying and working (or anything) there in DE?

Kind regards,
Ved.

You must file state taxes in every state in which you worked during 2007. If FL your legal state of residence or just where your employer is based. Where do you maintain your home? Did you work in both PA and DE in 2007? Be sure to look for forms that apply to non-residents or part-year residents. They apportion your income based on factors that vary by state but are typically dates of residence or amount of income earned the various places.
