Hi Friends,

i am actually having L2 visa and the i-94 expires by Sep 18 2008. can i apply for H1 as i am in USA for L2 to H1. my doubt is that do i need to have i-94 status until Oct 31 or latter. please advice me so that i can take a decision.

Yes you can apply COS from L2 to H1 under fresh quota..... also you need to extend your L2 status because even your H1 is approved it will be effective by Oct 1, 2008.
