Hi ,
I am working in delhi since last 4 years with company 'kkkk'.i applied H1B from company 'bbbb'.My native place is in orissa near to kolkatta embassy thats why in my I-797B it is mention that embassy interview place is at kolkatta.

Can i attain the interview in delhi as i am working last 4 years in delhi.
Please suggest me should i attain the interview in delhi or in kolkatta.

u can apply from delhi, but if u apply from culcutta u can get visa very easy, ok

becz u belong to culcutta ,


in u r i-797 uscis mention ur address to culcutta, better u go for ur own region

As you are staying in New delhi for more than 6 months you can(probably you should) attend the interview in delhi. It doesn't matter what mentioned in I197. Generaly your past 6 month stay only decide your interview location. Take proof of residence which says you are staying for more than a year in new delhi.

There are situations that people coming under Chennai consulate, if attended at Delhi/Mumbai have been redirected to Chennai. Since you belong to Kolkata area, probably you may attend at Delhi too. If still in doubt, better to confirm with VFS/Consulate.
