Filing H1B

Hello ,

I applied for H1b in 2006 and got 221(g) on 21st december 2006. i was asked for Bunch of documents , as asked by consulate i dropped documents ( which were sent to me by US company)in VFS.
in the month of april i receievd my passport and rejection letter ,which stated

We cannot issue visa because
the company is not in position or will to give u a job in US.


For your reference u'r visa is rejected on grounds of 221(g).

There ended the matter


I applied for F1 in the month of january 2008 and was rejected and i was handed out 214(b).

VO said

we cannot Issue visa because u'r trying to use F1 to get H1 .

Fine it ended there.


Now my brother in law wants me to apply for H1 again this year (for 2009)

is it suggested to apply for H1 now

You can very well apply for H1 again provided you are going through a right consultant and had good back ground. If you got rejected because of your consultant its not your fault.

Last year two consultants (Siebel) returned back to India because of insufficient opportunities in US. They were unable to find a job here even after searching for 5 months.

The last thing I heard from them is that you can get job in US ONLY if you have Siebel Analytics experience. If you do not have try to gain experience in that area. Check the job portals for the positions in US.
