Visa for 3 yr kid

My brother and his family planned to visit me here in US. He has a kid of 3 yrs old. I am wondering do we need to produce any special documents in visa interview to get visa for the kid. All the three are scheduled an appointment with US consulate in Chennai.

Do i need to write invitaion letters to all the three memebrs (brother, his wife and his kid) individualy or one letter to my brother itself enough?

Please give me your suggestion.

Just one letter should be enough for all of them.
