H1-B extension at Nogales, Mexico - How to edit readonly fields on DS 156/157

Hello,

I am going Mexico for my H1-b Visa extension and I have a question:

By mistake, i put only Family and First names on DS - 156 and DS -157 and My middle name was not there on both documents. How should i rectify this to avoid any problem at the time of interview. Kindly suggest as i cannot update DS -156/157 online now.

If the interview is in India, we can talk to VFS officer or agent who checks our documents before interview and fix this, but as far as i know there is no such facility in Mexico.

Hi,
Just the way you do India, perhaps you can mention it to the pre-screening personnel at the consulate or even to the VO and it should not be a prob. Infact when I contacted the VFS people in India about a similar mistake, they asked me to mention it to the VO and said -"Any mannural correction should be done after mentioning it to the VO", although usually the VFS people at the pre-screening counter do it themselves. So don't worry, it should not be a prob. Howver do consult seniors for better inputs in this regard.
