My mother's visa got rejected today.the officer asked her just 3 questions
why u r going to us?
why ur husband is not going with you.
what is your son in india doing
the 4th question my mom did not understand so she asked him to repeat again but still could not follow.
he then asked her to show the documents.he just took a glance and gave a paper stating 214(b) you will overstay and will not return and that she has no sufficient financial ties.
My mother had property, bank statement etc.when he asked for documents my mom had given the copies,he then asked for original papers but did not look at them.he just handed over the paper with a chance of immigration.i don't know why they rejected and how he could say that she has no financial ties when he did not even look at the papers.
i have taken an appointment for nov 18th.what r her chnaces she will get?
will going with my dad increase her chance?
should she show her original financial documents when asked.
when applying for 2nd time can we show the same papers or should we prepare a new one.

So you need to anaylse the situation and understand what might have gone wrong.
Every small thing can contribute to refusal even the mood of the offcier, as you said the original papers, the right order of documents , answering properly to the questions etc, so this time prepare well.
