passport name mismatch

Hi,

I am planning to get my parents to US by next month end. In my fathers passport his namke is given as 'Raju Arumugha', but in my passport my father's name is 'Raju Arumugam'. For all other purposes the name as in my fathers passport is used.

Now is it a very big issue if the name in my passport doesn't match exactly. Please advise me if some letter/affidavit can be produced(if asked for) during the VISA interview on March 03.

This is not an issue, such minor mistakes are common.
Makes sure you use his name as per his passport in all the forms etc.

thanks a lot. My parents have got the VISA for 6 months, with 10 yrs multiple entry.
