Hi, my one year visitor visa expires in march 2008. I am in USA currently visiting my daughter. This is my second time getting a one year visitor visa and my second time visiting US. Though my authorized stay every time was six months, I stayed only 2 months the first time and I am staying 3 weeks this time. But I wish to stay for the authorized six months this time, since there have been a extension of Leave at my current job, which was confirmed after I came to US. So, my question is what is the procedure to get a new visitor visa or extend my visitor visa, when I am in US? Is it possible? Does it effect my future visa applications if this is rejected now? My wife, who is with me now has a 10-year visa, while I was issued one-year every time we went for visa. Please advice.
